Ben played baseball with his friends Brandon, Spencer, and Logan. After getting hit a few times by the pitching machine, he did not like batting. But over the course of the season, and lots of practice batting, he grew to enjoy it, and the last game he hit the ball right down the 3rd baseline (he anticipated it!), and ran to second base. The next run he ran home amidst the cheering of his teammates. Today he just asked me to play baseball with him. He really likes it now, so that was a winning season, me thinks. :)
We went on a camping trip with Gabe's family, and took our new kayaks (Gabe's Father's Day present.)
The kids loved playing with their cousins.
Thomas pretty much slept through the whole thing.
We celebrated Ryan's birthday.
Then we went to Wyoming to visit my family. A good time was had by all. Gabe hiked Table Rock with my dad, Christa and I went on some good runs, we enjoyed shakes at the drugstore, a night at the Spud Drive In, and some Pickle Ball.
We enjoyed some good ole barbecues...
Followed by some smore fixins.
