For Cinco de May this year, we decided to have a little party with our neighbors, complete with pinata, and chips and salsas, queso, beans, churros, limonada, horchata, etc.
I didn't take hardly any pictures of the party itself, but here's the pinata we made:
It is a Covid pinata!
The pinata held up pretty well, and made it through all the kids hitting it before it fell down. Here are all the kids scrambling to get the candy.
It turned out to be really fun, and a good way to get to know the neighbors better. I couldn't have pulled it off without Gabe's mom helping me though. She made half the food for the party. Gabe's mom and dad were there, along with Joey and Sage (they were in town for the week).
